Maine’s Soul Survivors
This series of photographs that began in 1996 and was completed in April 2019. All of these subjects experienced the tragedy of the Holocaust as children or young teenagers. Their stories are remarkable. These images and text telling of their lives before and after 1945 are on permanent display at the Maine Jewish Museum on Portland and the Holocaust Human Rights Center in Augusta, Maine. They will be published in book form in the fall of 2019.
